Dr. Parker completed his graduate studies at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, and has since dedicated his professional efforts as a full-time physical therapist in outpatient orthopedics in addition to parallel roles in clinical research, higher education, and coaching youth soccer. His research to date has focused predominantly on exploring innovative treatment approaches to mitigate injury risk and optimize human performance using a unique constellation of biomechanical outcome measures and training techniques developed in concert with Belmont's Motion Analysis Laboratory. He currently teaches Biomechanics & Biomechanical Assessment at TNU's Master of Exercise Science program as well as Exercise Physiology to undergraduates at the same university. He holds certifications in Trigger Point Dry Needling (TrDN) and Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training and is the founder and principal at the Neuromuscular Training Academy where he serves developing athletes in the community.
