Dr. Spence Tomlinson is a middle Tennessee native who has been practicing Orthopedic physical therapy for over 11 years. He attended Belmont University in Nashville for both undergraduate and his doctorate degrees. He has been eclectically trained in manual therapy, McKenzie method, and multiple fitness and exercise based methodologies. His philosophy of treatment is whole patient focused, addressing patient’s source of pain and dysfunction as well as addressing health and lifestyle factors of sleep, diet, stress, and exercise/fitness. He loves treating at the 1:1 individual level, giving each patient an hour of specific and individualized care. He has specific passions and expertise in spinal pain and treatment, headache and TMJ treatment, and shoulder rehabilitation. Additionally, he enjoys treating the ball/court sport and fitness athlete alike, focusing on return to sports fully and completely.
In his personal life, Dr. Tomlinson is married to his wife Claire for 11 years, and has 3 kids. He has 3 dogs and is an avid golfer. He has been a member of CrossFit Nolensville for 2 years and has a true passion for health and fitness. He also attends Conduit Church in Franklin, TN and is actively involved there as well.
